Jörgnerkaser

The Jörgnerkaser is one of the three alpine pastures of the Vallmingalmen along the Dolomieu - trail. Route: From the mountain station of the Rosskopf cable car, follow the trail no. 19 on the right to the "Kastellacke biotope" and then descend on trail no. 19A to the alpine pastures Vallmingalmen. Alternative 1: Start at the valley station of the cable car "Rosskopf" in Sterzing, follow the path no. 19 or 23 through the shady forest via a serpentine path to a forest path, continue to the mountain station. From there, follow the trail no. 19 on the right to the "Kastellacke biotope" and then descend on trail no. 19A to the alpine pastures Vallmingalmen. Alternative 2: From the sports field in Gossensass follow the "Gottschalkweg" and then the trail no. 19A through the forest along the Vallming Valley up to the alpine pastures Vallmingalmen.
