Val di Vizze / Pfitschtal valley is one of the most northerly communes in Italy and lies close to the border to Austria. The main agglomeration of the commune is the village of Wiesen which is located at the entrance to the 23 km-long Val di Vizze / Pfitschtal valley. Surrounded by imposing mountains of 3,000 m and more, the high alpine Val di Vizze / Pfitschtal valley is the perfect place to relax and to enjoy the untouched nature.

During the winter months the valley is the ideal place for cross-country skiing while in summer the area blossoms into a haven for hikers.
